AT&T 1993 "You Will" Ads

This montage of AT&T ads came from a 1993 Newsweek CD-ROM, when Newsweek thought that one day, magazines would be sent to you in CD-ROM form, sponsored with ads. It's an interesting view of the future. (via very-appealing.com)

At what horsepower level in a 93 240sx automatic will I lose all traction when I step on the gas?
Best answer:
The automatic transmission really soaks up those RPM and really makes the 240SX sluggish. You'll need almost 200 hp to drift successfully. 240SX motors were originally Pick Up truck motors reliable fair low end torque but not much of that power ever makes it to the wheels. Once you get the power up in the motor the auto trans will suffer. Good Luck SR-20DET motor manual trans and ECM and J spec wiring harness upgrade in your future or a V-8 LS1 ?http://www.hydromake.com/

Beauty meets efficiency in the BlackBerry Torch 9810

The BlackBerry Torch 9810 is a powerful phone that combines the full functions of previous BlackBerry models with a unique design. It is also features tremendous improvements over the previous models in terms of capability.

As opposed to the usual flat design of many T-Mobile BlackBerry phones, including the AT&T BlackBerry Torch, the Torch 9810 is a slide phone. It has a full QWERTY keypad that slides outwards and back inwards from below the screen. The keypad uses touchpad technology and the keys act as miniature touch pads. This design ensures the keys can last longer without damage. Navigation through the phone is simplified by its large 3.2-inch touch screen with 600x480 screen resolution.

This phone provides the user with a high speed internet connection through a combination of 3G and EDGE connections, while at the same time it has Wi-Fi connectivity that can hook the phone to any hotspot to provide high speed internet data connection. The phone can be 'tethered' to a personal computer meaning it can be configured and connected to a computer for use as a modem using the BlackBerry Database Manager. The Wi-Fi also provides a connection to T-mobile's Hotspot@Home technology that allows users to make calls from their VoIP accounts. The phone also has Bluetooth Version 2.1 that provides high speed data transfer between the phone and other compatible devices.

It has very high storage capabilities with 8GB internal memory supported by 512MB RAM, which is enough to power a small personal computer. On top of this, it has a microSD card slot where a memory card can be inserted to further expand storage on the phone. This kind of storage, combined with the phone's easy synchronization with computers using the BlackBerry Database Manager software, makes it a perfect business tool as the users can store and work on the stored tasks away from the office.

Another great feature of the BlackBerry Torch 9810 is that it has a 5 megapixel camera. This camera is able to shoot very high quality pictures. In addition, as the phone supports HD (High Definition) video capture and playback, the user can record video clips of a very high resolution.

The phone runs on the new BlackBerry 7.0 operating system that is generally much faster than that used in its predecessors. It is unlocked and this means that it is able to support any SIM card provided by a GSM compatible wireless carrier that operates either in or outside the United States. In terms of sheer capacity and speed, the Blackberry Torch 9810 is a class above the rest.
