What is the difference between the HTC desire z and the tmobile G2?

No the HTC G2 does NOT have Sense installed.

The main difference is the T-Mobile HTC G2 is a US smartphone, and the Desire Z is a UK smartphone.

The only way to get Sense on a G2, is to root the phone and flash the Desire ROM to the phone.

You can do a search on XDA to find out how to root and load the Sense Rom on the G2.
