Can i use a different acer recovery disc in my acer machine?
Best answer:
It's doubtful. Recovery discs are tied to the specific model and motherboard serial number, AFAIK. You can always give it a try. If you contact Acer they may be able to send you the recovery discs you need, but it will cost you.
You can but an OEM copy of Windows 7 and upgrade if you want.download the recovery cd for your laptop to re-install vista, its an iso image file you burn to a dvd with an image burning program, dont use a cd or you will get writting errors.
